Bible Code

Does The Bible specify 2012 as the date of the end of the world?

When studying The Bible and its references to the second coming, the question that always needs to be answered is WHEN? We need to know when in order to plan and prepare for the apocalyptic events of the second coming
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."Matthew 24:36
So, does The Bible specify 2012 as the date of the end of the world? No. In fact Jesus states in the bible as fact that noone can know the date of the end of the world, not even himself or the angels.
The Bibles word is rather clean cut. No date is specified and it is stated that noone will know, not even Jesus and the Angels. Case closed? Not yet...

The Bible Code links to the year 2012

The Bible Code is a series of messages that are alleged to be hidden in the words of The Bible. When decoded, these passages supposedly form words to create predictions.
Michael Drosnin first published his book, 'The Bible Code' in 1997. It contained the result of many years research and has shown many accurate results for past presictions.

One interesting example is the 1994 prediction of Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabins 1995 assassination. Rabin did not listen to Drosnins warnings and was assassinated in 1995.

Above, we have an extract from 'The Bible Code' which spells out the words "Comet", "5772 / 2012" and "Earth Annihilated". So, the planet Earth will be annihilated by a comet in the year 5772 or the year 2012? Not quite... A small amount of further research will reveal that the year 5772 in the Hebrew calendar is actually in alignment with the year 2012 in our standard, Gregorian calendar.
